    2. Practice playing the end of each piece and then go into this one. 

RCM Technique

  1. D minor melodic LH fingering
  2. F Major RH unsteady
  3. D minor harmonic LH fingering
  4. Formula Patterns: Keep wrists steady. Don't bob up and down too much.
  5. Solid Chords: LH b-flat major - think about your position! 
  6. Broken Chords: keep your wrists up!

Performance Class

  1. Sunday, November 19th at the DiMenna Center. Play assessment pieces.
  2. Play all repertoire pieces except Invention in A Minor.

    1. PREPARE: all pages!
      1. Scales need extra work. 

      2. Memorize every item. Know the fingering.

      3. Keep your wrist up when you do the Tonic Triads - broken. 

      4. You only have ONE chance to get technique right - before you being, make sure that you KNOW you're going to do it correctly. . 
  2. Hanon No 1 (no assignment)

    1. Hands together with tidy attacks.
    2. Wrists up. 
    3. Don't pull on the keys
