- All scales on the page. Practice with a metronome at 80 for all the major and harmonic minor scales.
- remember to always alternate fingers with i and m
-try C and G Major with m a fingering
- focus on the Em melodic and Am melodic scales
Arpeggios
- work on the first two exercises with metronome at quarter note =60
- play through third and fourth with metronome at 100
Finger Independence exercise - just go through once, play the strings
Andante in C major
- remember to let the low Mi note ring in the minor section
- follow the right hand fingerings, especially when you see “a”
- watch low Sol note at the end of second line
- watch Do bass note at the end of the third line
Allegro
- great work, remember to follow all of the left hand fingerings
- alternate right hand fingers always
