1. Right Hand and Left Hand Exercises.

L.H., “hammer-ons” . Go to the 5th position (1st finger on 5th fret) and practice all 6 double finger combinations playing each twice. 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 1-3, 2-4, 1-4. Be sure to have your finger ROUND so you land on your fingertips. Hear the “click” of the sound.

R.H., play thumb on 6th string and touch 5th string. Play index, middle, ring, middle, index fingers, then repeat with thumb on 5th string (touch 4th!). Play thumb on 4th and repeat the process. Keep a steady rhythm! SLOW!!! 

For next week, try different patterns for R.H. Arpeggios. For example: p, a, m, I, m, a. And p, a, I, m... 

2. “Hallelujah” use the paper to know exactly which string to play the right hand arpeggios. Look for the numbers inside the circle as they represent the strings. Practice it slow firs and bring the quality of the slow practice up to the speed you want. By practicing slow you will learn fast!!!

Avoid frustration! Nobody likes this feeling... if you get to it, move back and try again slower!
