   1. Prepare each of the examples with the following in mind: NFRPE

   2. Send me a video after you’ve done two.

      1. Notes

         1. Make sure all notes are correct

      2. Fingering

         1. Correct fingering

      3. Rhythm

      4. Position

         1. Ask yourself how you can stay in an aligned position. IF there’s black note, what position do you need to be in, in order to keep that alignment BEFORE you play the black note,

         2. The LEAST movement possible. (think of voice leading)

         3. Keep wrist level - not too high

         4. Raising your wrist at the end of each slur (ultimately to keep relaxed)

      5. Expression

         1. At the ends of phrases (slurs), soften the end of the slur and think of strong and weak beats.
