      1. Say the names of the notes out loud in small chunks (1 or 2 measures at a time)

      2. Then Say and play the names of the notes (don’t worry about the rhythm yet)

      3. Then clap the beat and ta the rhythm.

      4. Then play the notes with the correct rhythm without saying the names of the noes.

    4. In order to pass off you need to play this with a steady beat and correct dynamics.

    3. “Tricky Hands” helps us get rid of pauses. Move to the new position very fast but don’t play the new notes. Do this at least three times quickly.

    2. REPEAT SIGN: means go back to the beginning of the piece without stopping and do it again!

    3. “INTERVAL” = means the distance between two notes. Your sightreading deals with the interval of a 5th this week!

  2. Counting the eighth notes correctly (for example first bar counting is “1 2 + 3 4”
