- All scales on the page. Practice with a metronome at 80 for all the major and harmonic minor scales.
- remember to always alternate fingers with i and m
-try C and G Major with m a fingering and memorization
- focus on the Em melodic and Am melodic scales
Arpeggios
- work on the first two exercises with metronome at quarter note =69
- play through third and fourth with metronome at triplet eighth note = 144
Finger Independence exercise - just go through once, play the strings
Allegro
- Much better job alternating right hand fingers
- Remember, everything in this piece is in second position
- make sure to place Do sharp note in the last measure of the first line with your second finger
- hold down your first finger when playing the eighth notes
- make sure your eighth notes are a little faster to stay in time
