Keep track of every item and every minute that you practice for each day. Write them down with the current date and tally the minutes you practice at the end of the day.

💜Hanon No. 3 (start with this assignment every day)

1. For CLOSE LOUD (m.m. 69 per note), your fingers must be curved or it doesn’t help as much as it could!

2. LEGATO: m.m. 100 two notes per tic. Your goal here it to play with a smooth, bump-free hand position.

1. Try to get through all the highlighted items with close loud and legato for each practice session. But if it takes more than 10 min, keep track of where you left off and begin there the next day.

2. Scales

   1. Don’t hold on to notes after you’ve played them

   2. Do accent practice on broken chords. Rotate the accent every three notes until you get through all of them.

   3. Do “close loud” at m.m. 60 per note for each scale item.

   4. Then play with the correct metronome indicated in the PDF, legato.
