1. Stage 3 Scale Technique To PASS OFF:
  1. Count in your mind, four beats before you start.
  2. Continue with the same steady beat ascending and descending.
  3. Don’t stop and repeat the top note.
  4. Round first knuckles.
  5. FOR EACH HAND:
    1. Make sure there are no “bleeding tones” (when you play one note and then you don’t “lift off” when you play the next note).
