   2. Set a metronome to anywhere from 60-80 per quarter note.

   3. Don’t fix mistakes until you get to end, at which point you can fix them in your mind before you try again.

💛Basic Rhythmic Training by Robert Starer Nos. 89 and 90

1. Step One: say “1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, etc.” (this represents the subdivisions of the beat). Keep saying 1, 2, 3, and clap the rhythm of the notes.

2. Step Two: clap the beat and ta the rhythm.

3. If you’re doing “eighth to quarter” or “quarter to eighth” remember to clap or think about the 3 divisions of the beat first.

   1. Switch up clapping the 8ths and ta-ing the rhythm and counting the 8ths and clapping the rhythm.
