    1. 2-3 beats at a time, practice hands together with the correct wrist movements and expression, 3 times in-a-row correctly.

    2. Then dove-tale (overlap the chunks of 2-3 beats) each section together until you can play measures 1-8.

    3. you should be able to do this over 3-4 practice sessions, so make small goals.

  3. 💚Early One Morning

    1. Search for “Early One Morning” on Spotify and make sure the songs say “traditional” in the credits somewhere. Listen away and find your top three favorites. Let me know what they are!

    2. Learn hands alone, 1-2 measures at a time, with NFPER. No more than 8 measures.

    1. Please keep your wrists up, especially when you play longer notes.

    3. Remember that pedal is part of expression, but practice the dynamics and pedaling separately first, then together.
