   1. NOTES FIRST: say the names of the notes out loud first with your hands in your lap. Practice matching the notes with your flash cards. Careful to notice if the notes go UP or DOWN by STEP or SKIP.

   2. Now PLAY AND SAY with the correct finger numbers: 3 TIMES CORRECTLY

   3. Now do Expression and Position!

   4. Finally, RHYTHM. Play with a steady beat.
