      1. NEVER start over in the middle of the exercise.

      2. Don’t play faster than m.m. 32 per quarter note. You can turn the metronome on to hear the beat then turn it off.

      3. Look at the rhythm and do it abstractly in your head. NOT fast.

      4. Then look at the intervals, key signature, etc.

      5. If you make a mistake, CONTINUE and pretend it didn’t happen. 😎

   1. One measure at a time, hands alone, then together. SLOW SLOW SLOW enough that you can play your expression, notes, fingering, and position perfectly.

   2. Repeat each hand with and without the music.
