💜FOUR STAR Level 2
PREPARE: Set 8
Sight-reading
NEVER start over in the middle of the exercise.
Don’t play faster than m.m. 32 per quarter note. You can turn the metronome on to hear the beat then turn it off.
Look at the rhythm and do it abstractly in your head. NOT fast.
Then look at the intervals, key signature, etc.
If you make a mistake, CONTINUE and pretend it didn’t happen. 😎
Intervals:
Maj 3, Min 3, Per 5
Chords:
Maj, Min
💚Ecossaise in G Major by LV Beethoven (L. 2, A)
Keep practicing on expression. More wrist movement. Keep it slow.
💚Crocodile Tears by Christine Donkin (L. 2, B)
Fix fingering throughout.
Fix the fingering in the LH, measures 9-10
Please take three measures at a time, and practice RH, LH, then HT, three times in-a-row correctly. This doesn’t have to be fast.
