  1. Legato & Staccato Pentascales:

    1. Practice with the metronome: 100 = quarter note. Our goal this week

    2. PLEASE GET A STEADY BEAT GOING IN YOUR MIND BEFORE YOU START EACH ONE.

    3. ROUND FINGERS.

  2. Broken Chords:

    1. Practice with metronome marking 50 = three notes for each tick. (We will work up to 60 for the test)

    2. Count OUT LOUD “ONE, TWO THREE” for each tick before you begin.

  3. Solid Chords:

    1. Practice with metronome 72 (one chord per two ticks)

    2. Count out loud before you begin.
