    1. COMPLETE THE ASSIGNMENT IN NEWZIK

      1. BEFORE YOU START AN EXERCISE: do it in your head.

  2. “SIGHTREADING 00 06-25 C F G”

    1. Prepare ONE “day” per practice session.

      1. Place your hands in your lap

      2. Study the time signature

      3. Study the rhythm (do it in your head like you do “star 2” in Four Star.

      4. Set a slow and steady beat.

      5. Start and DO NOT STOP if you make any mistakes.

      6. After you finish, stop and then look back to see if you made any mistakes.

      7. Fix them in your head and try again!

REPERTOIRE

  1. Czerny Op. 823 No. 1

    1. READ THE N.F.R.P.E. PDF IN NEWZIK. Memorize the acronym and what each of the letters stand for.

    2. Taking 4 measures at a time, apply NFRPE to Czerny No. 1.

      1. Start with LH (three times correctly for each letter (N, F, R, etc.)

      2. Then RH

      3. Then HT (hands together)

    3. Remember that you need to keep each musical ingredient as you add a new one!
