    2. Primer Level by Yourself: TABLE PLAY

      1. Shuffle Cards

      2. Deal yourself 5-10 cards

      3. Place the rest of the cards face down

      4. Turn one over

      5. Get rid of your cards as quickly as possible by saying the name out loud as you discard:

        1. you can discard the same letter name, one above or one below.

      6. If you can’t play, draw from the face down pile.

    3. Primer Level by Yourself: SAY AND PLAY

      1. Place 8-10 cards on the music stand.

      2. Set the metronome to 60

      3. Say and play the cards out loud every 2 ticks.

      4. Repeat until the cards are gone.

      5. If you miss a card, move to the next to keep with the beat.

    1. Using the NFRPE method, choose a “chunk” (no more than 2-4 measures.

    2. Learn the notes and fingering according to each highlighted voice (green = melody, purple = harmony, yellow = bass).

    3. Once you have learned them independendly, start to combine the voices in all combinations. Yellow + green, yellow + purple, green + purple, etc.
