  4. Find the audio “Mm 100” and play with the recording.

💚Melody in G Major, op, 101 no. 39 by Ferdinand Beyer (1803-1863) (Prep. A)

  1. See the new layer in Newzik, “April 7th”

Back in the 19th century, Ferdinand Beyer was basically the piano teacher of Europe. He believed every student should learn to play beautifully from the very start — and this tiny G major tune is a perfect example. Sweet, short, and surprisingly expressive.

💚Allegro in C Major, op. 1 no. 4 by Alexander Reinagle (Prep A)

  1. See the “Gledhill Arts Collective” layer and practice the boxes, RH, LH, HT 3 x’s each!

This cheerful Allegro was written by Alexander Reinagle, who actually gave piano lessons to George Washington’s step-grandchildren. His music traveled from Europe to early America — and today, it brings a dash of Colonial charm to our stage.
