SCHEDULE YOUR PRACTICE EVERY DAY - THE DAY BEFORE YOU PRACTICE! :)

READING

  1. SIGHTREADING LEVEL 1 (do each practice session)

    1. Do three “days” for each practice session.

    2. The goal is to be able to play from beginning to end with no stops or pauses.

    3. Remember mistakes are OK on the first couple of time that you play through! You’re sightreading, and the goal is to keep GOING, not play perfectly.

    4. Place a tally mark above each assignment for every time you play through.

    5. Remember to have good hand position.

REPERTOIRE

  1. Sneaky Sam

    1. FIX ALL THE BLUE PEN ON THE PAGE!

      1. Do this by practicing small sections, repeating them three times correctly each.

    2. PLEASE PRINT OFF THE SECOND PAGE and learn the rest of it!

      1. Do the next four measures! Be sure to do left hand alone and right hand alone first.

  1. Complete levels 1-1 to 2-10 in SOLFEGE & LETTER NAMES

  1. TREBLE CAT

    1. Complete levels 1-7 to 2-10 in SOLFEGE & LETTER NAMES

  2. BLUE NOTE

    1. Do level 1 in both Bass Clef and Treble Clef in SOLFEGE & LETTER NAMES
