   1. Separate the layers of page one system 2. Shape the phrase with top and bottom voices. Accompaniment should be softer.
   2. "hit the ground running" when you start this piece.

   1. m. 1 - accent 1st and 2nd beats
   2. m. 2, 8, 10 - crescendo / pokey fingers
   3. m. 11: do the decrescendo and drop wrist into 2nd beat. 
   4. mm. 39-50 - accent practice on each subdivision of of the beat: 1, 2, 3, 4 (use rhythms 15-19 on this section).
