   1. This was sounding great. Remember to keep relaxed and don't go fast at this point. The movements and gestures are more important than speed and accuracy.  

6. Scarlatti Sonata in C Major K 159 (recital)

   1. When you have difficult passages like the LH descending and the RH jumping to upper register notes, you tend to hold onto the notes. It's better to try to be relaxed and let go of the notes and make mistakes, rather than be tense and hold on to them. Your sound will be better when you're relaxed! 
   2. m. 52 - staccato 
   3. Hold on to the last notes of the pieces. Don't come off immediately after the trill. 
   4. Think lighter in general - more playful and fun! Use your wrist (pop forward) when playing grace notes. This should feel easy. If it's not, you're doing something wrong with your wrist. 

7. *Debussy: Children's Corner, L. 113, No. 1 Doctor Gradus ad Parnassum (recital)

8. Haydn: Piano Concerto in D Major HobXVIII:11, Movement 3

   1. m. 1 - accent 1st and 2nd beats
   2. m. 2, 8, 10 - crescendo / pokey fingers
   3. m. 11: do the decrescendo and drop wrist into 2nd beat. 
   4. mm. 39-50 - accent practice on each subdivision of of the beat: 1, 2, 3, 4 (use rhythms 15-19 on this section).
