💚Octave Exercise:

  1. One finger at a time then together.

💚HANON NO. 2 in A (work up to m.m. 84, 4 notes per tick) Two Octaves

  1. I’M LOOKING FOR YOUR POSITION ON THE KEYBOARD - NO MOVING FORWARD OR BACKWARD AT ALL!

  2. A Major - rotate between staccato and close loud, then do 3 times run-though legato.

    1. Accent Practice (two modes) at m.m. work up to 96 for next week one note per tic

      1. If you make a mistake, you need to go back one rotation and fix it.

      2. REMEMBER SHOULDERS RELAXED, CHEST OUT AND FORWARD, NECK RELAXED.

    2. Then, Staccato at m.m. 104, two notes per tic (two octaves)

      1. Relaxed shoulders

    3. Legato m.m. Start at 72 per quarter note and work up to m.m. 88

      1. Ultimate Oiled Fingers (legato)!

      2. Keep fingers close to the keys.
