  1. How to identify intervals:

    1. Identify the size

    2. Identify the bottom note of the interval as the tonic of a major or minor scale

    3. Ask yourself if the upper note is part of the major or minor scale.

      1. Tips:

        1. even intervals are found on line to space or space to line notes.

        2. odd intervals are found on line to line and space to space notes.

        3. Unisons, 4ths, 5ths, and 8ths are perfect intervals and found in both the major and minor scales.

  1. 🤓Prepare D major and B minor scales with mm. 60 per quarter note.

    1. Remember: “where is finger 4?”

    2. These are hands together - learn them in small chunks.

    3. Don’t twist your wrists when crossing over or under.

  1. Daily 16th drills. Do the correct technical work on this so you don’t end up sounding like a 🍩

    1. Drop your wrist into the keys more.

    2. Close-loud

    3. Accent practice hands together (strong/weak) followed by (weak/strong).

    4. Don’t pull on the keys. Plant fingers roundly instead.
