  1. Practice with the metronome (108 per quarter note). Keep playing if you make mistakes.

  2. After you’re done playing through, go back and correct any issues.

  3. Fix ANY markings in the music, especially fingering.

  1. LH alone, counting out loud. Get rid of any pauses. See the red pen

  2. RH same as above.

  3. HT counting

  4. More dramatic ending!

    1. STUDY THE TIME SIGNATURE

    2. DO THE RHYTHM IN YOUR HEAD

    3. THEN STUDY THE NOTE NAMES IN YOUR HEAD AND THE DIRECTION OF THE NOTES

    4. THEN PLAY WITH A STEADY SLOW BEAT.

    5. KEEP YOUR WRISTS UP

    6. DOUBLE CHECK THAT YOU’RE GIVING EACH HALF NOTE TWO BEATS! 🥸

    7. WHEN YOU FINISH, ASK YOURSELF WHAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED. FIX IT IN YOUR HEAD AND DO IT AGAIN!
