❤️TECHNIQUE Level 2 (AT LEAST 5-7 MIN A DAY)

2. NOTES AND FINGERING = our goals for now. We will add metronome later.

   2. ❤️Prepare F Major RH and LH on page 2

      1. POSITION IS THE NEW FOCUS.

      2. KEEP WRIST HELD ABOVE THE WHITE KEYS.

      3. KEEP YOUR HAND/WRIST LEVEL WITH YOUR ARM.

   3. 💛Prepare E Harmonic & Melodic Minor LH & RH on page 2

      1. Careful of twisty wrists when you make your transition over and under (thumb)

      2. HARMONIC MINOR = RAISED 7TH SCALE DEGREE

3. Fingering in priority and memorize where finger 4 plays in each hand.

💚Four Star Level 1 (UP TO 10 min a Day)

1. Complete Sets 9 and 10 (two “days” per practice session.

   1. For the RHYTHM portion (Star 2): Clap one measure of just beats, then continue clapping while you “tah” the rhythm.

   2. Reminder: “root” is the bottom note of the chord. “Quality” is major or minor.

   3. THEN STUDY THE NOTE NAMES IN YOUR HEAD AND THE DIRECTION OF THE NOTES

   4. THEN PLAY WITH A STEADY SLOW BEAT.

   5. KEEP YOUR WRISTS UP

   6. WHEN YOU FINISH, ASK YOURSELF WHAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED. FIX IT IN YOUR HEAD AND DO IT AGAIN!
