    1. “German Dance in D Major is one of my favorite pieces from this set. Franz Joseph Haydn was born in 1732 and died one year before Frederic Chopin was born in 1810! He composed music in the Classical period. Haydn was friends with Mozart and was a tutor of Beethoven, who modeled many of his composition after Haydn’s style.”
