DAY 1: Practice the 1st and 2nd endings on page 1, back to back. Practice playing from 18 to 19 with no change in tempo.
DAY 2: Practice starting from any measure. Review day 1 stuff.
DAY 3: Whole thing with and with music once (and do any spot practice as necessary).
DAY 4: Practice the 1st and 2nd endings on page 1, back to back. Practice playing from 18 to 19 with no change in tempo.
DAY 5: Send Dustin a recording of the whole piece. Let Dustin know where you’ve done this. Text or in Newzik.

Only then should you move on to playing these with a steady beat.

Sight-reading preparation method:
Study the rhythm in your mind - actually play the rhythm in your mind as an abstract exercise (think about clap-back exercises). What is the time signature? What is the shortest note-value?
Notes and fingering. Look at the key signature. Observe intervals - the distance between the notes.
Choose a slow tempo and start to play with a steady beat - don’t stop once you start. Move forward if you make mistakes.
