Four Star Level 3

  1. Prepare Set 1

  2. Sight-reading preparation method:

    1. Study the rhythm in your mind - actually play the rhythm in your mind as an abstract exercise (think about clap-back exercises). What is the time signature? What is the shortest note-value?

    2. Notes and fingering. Look at the key signature. Observe intervals - the distance between the notes.

    3. Choose a slow tempo and start to play with a steady beat - don’t stop once you start. Move forward if you make mistakes.
