Royal Conservatory of Music Certificate Program Information

  1. 💚Four Star: Level A

    1. Go to the tests and do all of the sight playing examples.

    2. Playbacks - need a bit of work.

    3. Play major and minor chords on the keyboard and say the quality out loud.

💚TECHNIQUE PREP A

  1. Pentascales: legato and staccato:

    1. Round fingers.

    2. On staccato: tap & bounce on each key, NOT jump from the key.

  2. Solid and Broken triads:

    1. Make sure LH your 3rd fingers are rounded and curved.
