TECHNIQUE:
- Hanon No. 1- HANDS TOGETHER: Ascending and descending: - CLOSE LOUD - Attack the key with a forward wrist and round finger 
- Immediately release your energy and relax your wrist and arm. 
- All notes are legato. 
 
- LEGATO - Set metronome to 44 = two notes per tic 
- ta four notes before you begin 
- play with the metronome. 
- Fingers stay close to the keys and fingers round 
 
 
 
READING:
- Piano Adventures: Sightreading Book: Level 1- Sightread one “day” per practice session. 
- place a tally mark above the exercise after you have played through once. 
- don’t stop once you’ve started

MUSICIANSHIP
- Sight Singing- 2nds and 3rds (steps and skips) - Play C on the keyboard and match the pitch with your voice. 
- Sing and play up and down 2nds and 3rds, matching the pitch with your voice. 
- Just sing up and down 2nds and 3rds. Use the keyboard for help if you need it. 
 
 
- Ear Training - with Dustin- Up 2nds, 3rds 
 
- Rhythm- WITH DUSTIN: No. 38 - Learn 5/4 conducting 
 
 
- Solfege- Prepare No. 6 on page 17 
- ***Prepare No. 8 and 10 on page 18 - Set metronome to m.m. 40 and say and play the syllables with the metronome. 
- If you make a mistake, move ON! Don’t correct it. 
- Use finger 2. It needs to be rounded / curved.
