Mayumi

Mayumi and I continued her work on “In My Own Little Corner” from Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. We worked on the incorporation of her “head” and “chest” registers, and worked on keeping everything in a very “speaky” place regardless of how high the notes travel.

June

June and I continued work on Matilda’s “Naughty.” This piece is tricky musically and requires extra listening to get the speech and rhythm into your ear. June and I are working on creating more sound in her voice by “yelling” back into the body.
