First, clap the beat (always, even if there are half notes) and “ta” the rhythm.
Second, count four steady beats out loud then play the notes with the correct fingering to a steady beat.
NO FASTER THAN METRONOME 80 PER QUARTER NOTE.

Set metronome to m.m. 100-144 and practice saying the letter names forward and backward by skips (or 3rds) beginning on any note.
