“SPOTTING” or a “SPOT” is a small section of your music that need to be cleaned up! To “spot” a section, do the following:
Create the spot by starting at least one measure before the mistake and finishing one measure after the mistake
Be able to play it 3 times in-a-row correctly.
LH ms. 12 to the end: 3 times in-a-row perfect. Every practice session. “Spot”
RH ms. 1-4: “SPOT”
Be able to play hands alone to the end with NO STOPS and NO MISTAKES
