TWO ASSIGNMENTS THIS WEEK:
🟩Like Him
Measures 98-99 - Practice these measures back to back RH and LH alone, then together.
Measures 102-108 - continue to focus on slow practice and tidy attacks.
Measures 99-102 - gradually speed-build four notes at a time to the final tempo. Then combine two groups to make eight, etc.
Measures 75-78 - See the new expressive markings.
Measures 87-88 - focus on the voice in these measures.
Start speed-building in larger chunks to eventually be able to play the whole thing through. Be able to identify your practice sections next lesson.
🟩Mozart Sonata, No. 11 in A Major, III. Rondo: Alla Turca
Current Status:
Measures 1-41 learned
Measures 41-48 hands alone
Practice slowly enough so that you make ZERO mistakes with notes and fingering. Don’t worry about the rhythm or tempo.
