💚Sight-Reading: Celebrate Piano Solos 3

  1. Watch the sight-reading video for your next lesson.

  2. Start from p. 43

  3. Sight-read 8 measures at a time (repeat the same 8 measures if necessary).

  4. Two 8 measure chunks per practice session.

  5. Raise your tempo each time if it’s at a fast tempo.

  6. PLEASE KEEP A STEADY BEAT AND PLAY THROUGH MISTAKES.

    1. Hands alone first, then together. Three times correctly, each.

    2. Memorize all of the tempo markings and make sure to not go faster than indicated!

    3. For each item, do:

      1. Close Loud

      2. Slow-medium legato - NO FASTER THAN m.m. 60 per two notes

      3. Speed-build legato
