    1. Start with Close Loud

    2. Then alternate the following techniques throughout the week:

      1. Staccato

      2. Accent Practice (every other note, then alternate)

      3. Rhythm Practice (long, long, short, short, then alternate)

      4. Articulation Practice (staccato, staccato, legato, legato, then alternate)

      5. Sprint Practice (Long and several shorts)

    3. Then legato and speed-build. Start at m.m. 80 per quarter note and work up to mm. 104 per quarter
