Assignments:

  1. Happy Time Jazz (level 6) Harmony of the Angels (level 5) Sonatina in F Major Beethoven (level 5) Deux Rigaudons (level 5)

1. Read through first two measures out loud and play.

2. Chords- read one note at a time from bottom to top, review fingering bottom to top.

  1. Note Speed:

    1. Level 4 And 5

      1. Lay out 7 cards

      2. Glance at them once

      3. Set a timer (7 secs for treble, 12 secs for bass)

      4. Repeat until done with no mistakes in time

      5. If first three tries are not in time, add 2 seconds.

  2. Terms

    1. Leger lines float above and below the staff.

    2. Bass clef is also called F clef = line four becomes F

    3. Treble clef is also called G clef - line two becomes G
