Lesson taught July 15th
- Prelude No. 9 - make sure that the p finger stays free after plucking with it. Do not place it on another string right after using it.
- Exercise 13 - continue to pay close attention to the right hand fingerings that are written in (especially the a finger). Also watch out for the p finger and make sure it stays free (not touching other strings) after you pluck a string with it. Practice measure by measure, focusing on correcting the right hand.
- Continue to do the bass note exercises in the sight reading book.
- Flash cards - say and play the note, to become faster at reading notes on the first four strings of the guitar.
- Study and do the fourth string exercises to become more familiar with the notes on the fourth string (D, E, F)
