🖤💜Left Alone by Joyce Grill (L. 3, Etude)

  1. See all pen in Newzik. Focus on a slower tempo so you can fine-tune your dynamic contrasts.

💚Sonatina in A Minor op. 94 no. 4 (L. 3, B)

  1. Do the following 4 items daily.

    1. CHOOSE YOUR PRACTICE CHUNK for Slow Work and Medium Tempo Practice

    2. SLOW PRACTICE (section work)

      1. WITHIN YOUR SECTION: LH, RH and HT doing the following

      2. CLOSE LOUD on any 8th notes

      3. No faster than m.m. 100 per 8th note.

      4. If you make a mistake, go back one measure to correct it.

    3. MEDIUM TEMPO PRACTICE (section work)

      1. Your focus here is NFRPE - get everything as polished as possible by repeated your section three times in-a-row correctly at the following tempi:

        1. M.m. 104

        2. M.m. 112

        3. M.m. 126

      2. Remember, the first 2-4 days of practice like this can feel like a lot. But you’ll get faster and completing the three in-a-row as time goes on.

      3. As it gets easier for you to do three in-a-row correctly, make your section bigger.

      4. So this for every section for the whole piece.

    4. FINAL TEMPO PRACTICE (entire piece)

      1. Treat it like a performance.

      2. Entire piece:

        1. M.m. 144

        2. M.m. 152

        3. M.m. 160
