    2. PRACTICE: mm. 1-8: hands together, no faster than m.m. (metronome marking) 50 = quarter note. Follow the arrows and fingers MUST be curved.

    3. LEARN: to the end of the piece. VERY SLOWLY at first. Count correctly. Say the names of the notes and fingering BEFORE you play the notes.

    1. Continue to practice starting from any measure of the piece. Prepare well enough in your mind before you begin to be able to start and not stop (no mistakes on the first notes).

      1. PRACTICE WITH THE METRONOME AT THE FOLLOWING TEMPI (Mom’s help would be good here).

        1. Think about the “downbeat” (the first beat in every measure), trying to line it up with the strong beat of the metronome (this is if you set the “beat” to 4 in Newzik.
