PLEASE READ THE ASSIGNMENT
- 💚Rhyme Time (L. 2, B)- Hands alone, no faster than m.m. 126 per quarter note. Fix all the pink pen. 
 
- 💜Royal Conservatory of Music Technical Tests: Level 1- Assignment:- (These were so much better this week!)
- F Major, hands alone
- D Natural minor, hands alone
- D harmonic minor, hands alone
- Wrist up when you play finger 1
 
- Method:- Set metronome to 69 per quarter note.
- Before you start playing, count out loud: “1 & 2 & 3 & 4 &” and then begin.
- Don’t let the RH wrist drop below the white keys.
- RH finger two needs to be curved.
 
 
- 💜Hanon: The Virtuoso Pianist No. 3- Assignment:- Transpose to G Major and play INSIDE the black before 5th or 1st fingers play on F-sharp.
- Fingers never leaving the surface of the keys.
- Close-loud once each day.
 
- Method:- Strong attack on each note, then immediately relax.
- Pop the wrist up slightly on each attack.
- Don’t slide on the keys.
- One time through each day.
 
 
- 💜Four Star: Sight-reading & Ear Tests (PRINT & PUT IN BINDER)- Assignment:- Complete Set 10
- Remember to play NO FASTER THAN M.M. 60 per quarter note for the sight-reading

- 💜Ecossaise by Beethoven (L. 2, A)- Please fix the pencil markings in the right hand (measures 2 and 6)

- “D. C. al Fine” go back to the beginning and finish at the “Fine” marking.
- Practice starting from any measure of the piece once per practice session.

- Method:- ❤️❤️No faster than m.m. 112 (please purchase a metronome or download a metronome app on your phone)

- The goal is to play it correctly on your first try from any measure.
 
 
- 💜Mist by Clifford Pool (L. 1, B)- Assignment:- Set metronome before you begin, then turn it off and play through with a focus on expression.
- Hold the notes for their full value even though your pedal is down.
- Gradually come off the keys and pedal at the same time to match the mood of the piece (ending).
 
- Method:- Turn on the metronome to 88 per quarter note.
- Play through with the metronome.
- turn the metronome off and play through again.
