    1. Please fix all the fingering and notes in the LH. When are there C-sharps and when are there not?

  3. ❤️Four Star: Sight-reading & Ear Tests (PRINT & PUT IN BINDER)

    1. Assignment:

      1. Complete Set 10

      2. ❤️Remember to play NO FASTER THAN M.M. 60 per quarter note for the sight-reading

      3. Playbacks need a bit of work. Dustin, recording some examples.

      4. Sight-reading needs work.

    1. Assignment:

      1. Practice starting from any measure of the piece

      2. Fix dynamics at the end.

    2. Method:

      1. ❤️❤️No faster than m.m. 112 (please purchase a metronome or download a metronome app on your phone)

      2. Think very carefully before you being.

      3. The goal is to play it correctly on your first try from any measure.

  7. 💜Mist by Clifford Pool (L. 1, B)

    1. Assignment:

      1. Set metronome before you begin, then turn it off and play through with a focus on expression.

      2. Hold the notes for their full value even though your pedal is down.

      3. Gradually come off the keys and pedal at the same time to match the mood of the piece (ending).

    2. Method:

      1. Turn on the metronome to 88 per quarter note.

      2. Play through with the metronome.

      3. turn the metronome off and play through again.

  8. 💚Ukrainian Folk Song by Beethoven (L. 1, A)

    1. Practice starting from any measure of the piece - ONCE EVERY PRACTICE SESSION.

    2. Be able to play for at a least measures from your starting point

    3. Play through once a day at a medium tempo m.m. 80 per quarter note.

    4. Then as many times as you like at m.m. 132 per quarter note.

    1. Practice starting from any measure of the piece - ONCE EVERY PRACTICE SESSION.

    2. Be able to play for at a least measures from your starting point

  10. 💚Technical Requirements for Piano: Level 1

    1. Assignment:

      1. Tonic Traids: Broken and Solid

        1. Prepare all the triads on pages 10-12

        2. Keep wrists up

        3. Remember finger 2

  11. 💚Hanon: The Virtuoso Pianist No. 3

    1. Assignment:

      1. Transpose to F Major and play INSIDE the black before 5th or 1st fingers play on F-sharp.

      2. Fingers never leaving the surface of the keys.

      3. Close-loud once each day.

    2. Method:

      1. Strong attack on each note, then immediately relax.

      2. Pop the wrist up slightly on each attack.

      3. Don’t slide on the keys.

      4. One time through each day.
