Work on the loudness of your claps. Keep your palms together.
Sightreading Portion:
Please choose a slow, steady beat, THEN start. DO NOT stop once you’ve started.
After you go through it once, ask yourself: “did I do all of NFRPE?” If not, go back, fix it in your head first, then do it again and ask yourself the same question.
Sightreading Level 2A
m.m. 40 - 60 no faster than this
BE PICKY with NFRPE. It might take you up to 10 times to get everything! That’s OK. Because if you’re picky, you’ll get better faster!
Repertoire
Canon by Carleton Elliot (1928-2003) (L. 1, C)
Learn hands alone to the end with NFRPE
Detectives by Christine Donkin (L. 1 Etude)
Practice HANDS ALONE and follow all of the pen markings already in your music.
**German Dance in D Major by F. J. Haydn (Level 1. A)
Set metronome to m.m. 60
DO NOT GO FASTER THAN THIS. It’s this slow so you can get all the expressive markings.
