      3. Rhythm Practice (long, long, short, short, then alternate)

      4. Articulation Practice (staccato, staccato, legato, legato, then alternate)

      5. Sprint Practice (Long and several shorts)

    3. Then legato and speed-build. Start at m.m. 80 per quarter note and work up to mm. 104 per quarter note (goal is 116)

      3. Both hands very slowly with technique 4 measures

        1. Both hands blocked in left hand

        2. Again, covered music

        3. Both hands slightly faster

      4. Right hand alone faster without music then with

      6. Coming off the second note

      7. Sped up almost to full tempo
